• Marco Pierre White Restaurants enjoys record Valentine’s Day

Romance was certainly in the air across the Marco Pierre White Restaurants estate which has reported record covers for Valentine’s Day.

In comparison to 2024, the UK-wide franchise restaurant group which includes its Steakhouse, New York Italian and Chophouse brands, recorded a 24 per cent increase on its 14 February covers.

During the four-day ‘Valentine’s’ period, covers were also up 16 per cent in comparison to the same period in 2024.

Details on the group’s Valentine’s Day success follows news that it also enjoyed its best-ever January.

Robyn Lee, marketing director said: “All our venues were very busy over the Valentine’s weekend and it’s great to see so many guests dine with us.

“Through a combination of menus that differentiates our franchise partners from their main competition, marketing activity which appeals to the target audience and support for both front and back of house teams has proved to be a winning formula. 

“The majority of our sites are located within hotel dining spaces, however our offer has a strong appeal to a lot of non-residential guests and is evident by the good start we’ve had in 2025.

“Our new spring menu is about to launch across the estate and includes a two courses for under £20 option so provides guests with even more reasons to dine out.

“We’re now looking forward to supporting our partners as the days start to get longer and warmer.”
