The new Marco Pierre White Steakhouse Bar & Grill in Swansea will open its doors to customers on Friday 14 August.
This new culinary destination is set to become one of the city's most exciting dining experiences and those keen to be one of the first to try out the new restaurant, which is located in the SA1 area of the city, can now contact the venue to reserve a table.
Set against the backdrop of Marco Pierre White's unique monochromatic styling, the restaurant's surroundings are matched by the menus which are devised by arguably the UK's greatest chef.
Bringing to life Marco's own philosophy of what he describes as 'affordable glamour' this exciting and bright dining experience includes signature steaks, alongside timeless English and French classics.
The core values of the Steakhouse revolve around classic dishes that are simply cooked and served in an aspiring yet glamorous environment. Steak is at the heart of the menu, but the menu caters for all tastes and budgets.
Rhys Andrews, general manager said: "It's great news, to at last have a date for when we will open our doors to the public. There's been a lot of interest and as the opening date approaches, the excitement will just grow and grow.
"The team is going through a rigorous training programme so that when we open, they will be up to speed on the exacting standards required by someone of his calibre.
"Marco Pierre White is such an iconic British chef and his unique take on traditional dishes is superb and we know that our guests will want to come back again and again to try everything on the menu.
"Those wanting to reserve a table can now do so via the restaurant website."
Thanks to NHS Staff
And while the Covid-19 pandemic continues to impact the country, as a token of gratitude for their dedication, sacrifice and hard work, all NHS staff will be able to dine in the new restaurant and receive 50 percent off all main courses.
Rhys added: "To offer all NHS staff 50 percent off all mains is the least we can do while we're still in the grips of the current pandemic. A lot of us here all know someone who has been affected, and have seen first-hand the brilliant job the NHS has done for us all so we're looking forward to seeing many of its staff here once we're open."
