Earlier this week our team were setting off to make the epic journey of 452km from London to Paris, all to raise money for the charity Action Medical Research.
The team have been training hard for months to partake in one of the toughest challenges to date for the Marco Pierre White Restaurants team. The 4-day challenge sees them climb around 1,200 meters, through the British and French countryside, to finally end under the iconic Eiffel Tower, Paris.
To date, they have raised just over £50,000 through different fundraising efforts. These included auctions, cake sales and sponsorships in aid of the Children's charity.
Action Medical Research save and change children's lives through medical research. They have been funding medical breakthroughs since 1952 like the first polio vaccines in the UK, ultrasound in pregnancy and the rubella vaccine– helping to save thousands of children's lives and change many more.
